If the date is June 20 and we are there with Anubis and certain other Gods to remind the Uncle of Har sa Isit that it is time for His annual constraining then I am there! However we will have to take Him to the court of Atum once again! Lucky for us Horus the Elder and Sekhmet are present along with Black Isis and Tahuti.
This mask of Anubis would be a good one to have with us! I was just reading again today of the court appearance of Horus and Set before the Gods. (We should shake a sistrum here! and I just did that for us.) This is now the time of the year when the battle rages between the two of them (Har and Set) until the Summer Solstice. The land becomes drier and the river narrows...or would if not for modern intervention. You are not so far from Egypt where you are living. Have you been to Egypt? Thanks for the remarks on the Mask... Anubis is a good old friend of mine. Blessings, Isis

It is pretty cool isn't it? Love to think about it all...especially the beginning... anyway... the Tree of Life is the Ever Becoming...which by the way a Rabbi once mentioned to me. The Name of God associated with that "burning bush" was not really I Am that I AM but actually "I Am the Ever Becoming"...and so it continues...
Thanks for your remarks. Bright Blessings, Isis

John - Finally took the time to read your profile...sometimes I find your writings very prolific..and I like your comment that you believe everyone deserves love and coffee...makes you sound uncomplicated and easy to understand. But your command of the English language, your varied interests of music, movies and writers that interest you, paint a different picture...interesting...

Sometimes I wonder if there is a method to my madness or if the steel spiked hat I wear during thunderstorms is a good idea. It was interesting to hear that poems come to you during solitary walks. That certainly has a more romantic quality for liner notes than mine. I would have to write, 'I was squeezing Charmin in my reading room and plop and idea came to me.' After spending two years in a very deep depression about 5 years ago, I'm now totally opposite. It seems like I see humor in everything. My wife says I'm laughing in my sleep. With my health problems and all the aches and pains I have, it doesn't make much sense why I feel so happy. Last night I played ketchup, drank three, maybe four glasses of coconut rum mixed with apple juice and somehow remembered to set the coffee for my wife. I guess I commented on about 35 articles of my Gather friends while listening to Coast to Coast. I read the article you sent me for maybe the third time while listening to George Norry's guest drone on about the church of Satan, which of course complimented the article, since it was about jackasses and neocon scum. I'm answering pings today and just hoping the thunderstorm moving in has lots of lightning. I love watching the bolts in the sky. It's almost as good as a magnitude 4 earthquake. Any higher magnitude and I need Depends. I hope you have a wonderful weekend.

Oh John it is the power of a Goddess at work! Wonderful...wonderful. It is Isis the Lady of Love...the true Venus...this planet was once called Isis. Not now so well known. Venus was just a kitchen garden goddess of the Romans... a lady of strawberrys and sweet flirtations..but Isis Hathor became Ishtar and eventually the name spreading throughout the ancient Near East became Aphrodite..
Isit Hathar becoming Ishtar... so She works her magic! So glad you found this synchronistically in tune but that is the work of the Lady Herself! Will look for the film you speak of! Sounds wonderful. Love Sam Neill. Thanks for your words. Keep looking for the column which I will continue writing. Bright Blessings, Isis

So glad to hear that you finally saw "Yes"
The music in one of the love scenes is on Sam's mix. The film thrilled me so because of the poetry in every line...as well as the story of unlikely lovers. I hope more people will see it.

Hi John! Just to let you know the lovely planet Venus enters Taurus tomorrow morning at 6:35 AM Pacific Daylight Time (2:35 PM BST in London). Not sure if you are an hour ahead of London but check their time for that may be close to your time zone. Here is a very old song called Venus with a lovely representative of the Goddess to commemorate Her entry into Taurus. Venus will bring many blessings to those with Taurus Sun this month. Hope she brings you joy, peace, love and beauty!

Thanks for your comments on the poems John. They are quite magical...and actually speak of magic done over many lifetimes that have led us back to each other in this life. Oberon is someone within the magical community that I know and he chose to use the name Oberon because my middle name is Titania. With shared past lives echoes follow. Oberon writes a little occasionally but makes his living on the stage and in films. I will let him know your thoughts and that the poems are up on Gather. I am sure he will appreciate your comments.
About the astrology column... That will be done on a daily basis so come back tomorrow if you are interested and see what is happening then and throughout this passage of the Sun through Taurus. What a wonderful, artistic and beautiful sign of the zodiac your Sun is in! (It is also my rising sign! and I have Venus in Taurus conjunct the ascendant). Definitely the sign of the artist and also confers a beautiful voice. Bright Blessings, Isis

Hi John..
Wrote up a true story... a shamanic journey I was guided to undertake at a time when I was quite ill dealing with life threatening allergic reactions on a daily basis for five months during a period of hypersensitivity. The experience has a tiny Al Qaeda connection. If you have time and want to have a look here: http://www.gather.com/viewArticle.jsp?articleId=281474977307346 If the that doesn't work it is in my list of articles and listed as My Journey to the Gates of Immortality (a visit to Osiris and Ra). Bright Blessings, Isis |
